Our founding philosophy is quite simple - we aspire to capture the calm amidst the chaos; to provide a reprieve from the noise that persists outside our doors. Inspired by beauty found in the intricate details of everyday life, we hope our collections find and leave you feeling more connected to the world around you.

We have always been inspired by a quiet kind of luxury, and we endeavour to inspire the same for you through a contemplative aesthetic and considered, lasting collections.

JUNE began as a rather small operation, run solely by husband and wife duo Joël and Danielle. With an eye for the aesthetic and an entrepreneurial spirit, what started as a humble idea grew into a rewarding and thriving community. 

Slowly, slowly, the team expanded to help pack, ship, and organize orders. Soon after that in 2018, a brick-and-mortar shop on Kennedy Street opened its doors, and soon after that it was 2020… a year that was equal parts isolating and connective, challenging and uniquely rewarding.

As the world settled into its new normal, we settled into ours. JUNE moved warehouses, closed the physical shop to focus on our online community, saw the team grow even larger, flew to the UK for an unforgettable shoot in the Cotswolds, and then… our co-founders ran out of steam.

Following Joël and Danielle’s departure, much of the original team moved on and away to seek new creative pursuits. So, when the call came, it was with much excitement that we managed to find our way back together.

Our team is one that we affectionately describe as ‘small, but mighty’, and strive for excellence in everything we do. From thoughtfully curated collections to meaningful photography, the words in our Journal to the newsletters we share, from answering your emails to carefully preparing each of your orders.
