“Is the spring coming?" he said. "What is it like?"... "It is the sun shining on the rain and the rain falling on the sunshine...”

As patient as the budding branches are for warmer days and vibrant blooms, so too, have we been. Until spring begins to stir within us.
Now, as if crawling out from underneath a quilt of clouds, we answer a jubilant invitation from the sun-dappled garden outside our window...

With spring, there's no time like the present; each day presents a unique sense of newness.
So, off we trot with a newfound rhythm that is as spritely as it is contemplative, to soak up softspoken details of earth's quiet renewal; there is much to drink in.

We dawdle in the sunlight and delight in the garden, taking any excuse for a moment's pause amongst the flowers.
We notice the buds, branches, and new leaves. We drink in the scent of revival and note that even the wind has seemed to change its tune; what were once bare branches are now peppered with leaves, flowers, and buds, creating a soundscape for the season.

As the sun stretches on throughout the evening, we cannot help but indulge in a bit of daydreaming -
Of daisy chains and the gentle hum of honeybees; rain boots by the door and muddy pathways through the trees; garden parties and sunset skies; lazy evenings lounging on the porch and early mornings rising with the sun.
We welcome spring with open arms, and in return, it whispers an abundance of sun-dappled days.
